Tale of Two Cities Parade & Festival

Goosebump produced the 2012 & 2013 Avondale & Goodyear Tale of Two Cities parade and festival.  This fabulous event featured more than 80 parade entries and attracted 5,000+ people.  The parade highlights included a fly over of 4 bi-planes, several balloons and marching bands, Both city Mayors and Council members, Phoenix Sun’s Gorilla, Sun City Pom squad, more than 200 Girl Scouts celebrating their 100th Birthday and much more.  The event culminated with a festival featuring live music, kid’s zone, sponsor and exhibitor booths and plenty of great food.

The 2013 event featured an international celebration theme and we showcased more than 30 different countries cultures.  The event also featured a naturalization ceremony for more than 150 new citizens who also marched in the front of the parade as the grand marshals.

Goosebump coordinated all event logistics and sponsorship sales for the event.

Parade planners should be proud
West Valley View – 2/2/12

“I have been involved with many parades and events and know that many hours of planning and meetings are necessary to make sure such an event comes off without a hitch. Truly this is what had to occur, all the meetings, recruitment of participants and searching for sponsors resulted in a very enjoyable Birthday party for the two Cities. The planners, volunteers, and sponsors should be very proud their work as I feel this was an event that was enjoyed by many people, both young and older.”
